Detail program
Hoalu, the ancient capital of Daicoviet (Vietnam’s ancient name), which was existing 41 years since 968 when Dinhbolinh took the thrown until 1009. This site was chosen for the capital due to its proximity to China and the natural protection afforded by the region’s bizarre landscape. In 1010 Lythaito King moved the capital to Thanglong, and nowadays when you come to Hoalu, on the foundation of the ancient Palace there are only two temples built to worship Dinh and Le kings.
You’ll visit: Dinh and Le temples.
• From here you’ll drive to the pier of Vanlam village and then the small riverboat rowing along the river will bring you to visit Tamcoc, which is still called “Dry Halong Bay”. The mixture among the mountain, the river, the rice paddies and the caves with the stalactites flowing down as mysterious marble boasts the breathtaking scenery.
• Have late lunch in the local restaurant.
• After lunch, continue to visit Bichdong in Ngunhacson mountain range. Come here, again, you’ll be stunned by the mysterious beauty of the mountain, the river, the caves and the pagodas standing nestle against the rocks.
• Late in the afternoon return to Hanoi.
Trang An Landscape Complex is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs. Marvel at the scenic landscape of Trang An. Hike to the top of the Mua Cave for incredible views from the top
In the morning, our car and guide will pick you up to travel to Tràng An
Take a bamboo boat rowing through the majestic cave complex of Bright Cave, Dark Cave, Ba Giot Cave. Glide along the river, crossing villages, mountains, and lush rice fields.
Stop to have luch at local restaurant
Get back to the car and leave for Mua Cave. Hike up the mountain and see the Ngo Dong River. Climb 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. Enjoy a panoramic of Tam Coc.
