Overview

Exploring Vietnam from South to North will certainly provide you with an amazing journey. The journey starts from the dynamic city of Ho Chi Minh City, then to the Mekong Delta, through the prominent cities of Central Vietnam, and up to the North where you can enjoy a cruise in Halong Bay and explore the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi.

Detail program

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) arrival 
Arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be picked up by the guide then transferred to the hotel in city center. 
Free time to relax or explore the city by your own the downtown at Dong Khoi Street (formal Catinat str.), Ben Thanh market .
Cho Lon - the Chinese quarter, with Binh Tay market, strolling on the always-crowded streets. 
Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Ho Chi Minh city tour - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh (B/L/…)
In the morning, you will make an orientation tour on foot: 
Around the Paris Commune Square area, the center of the city, located the Cathedral Church, designed in France and built by Mr. Bourard – a French engineer; the post office in an old colonial style building with a part of its iron structure was designed by Gustave Eiffel’s student; 
Outside the Reunification Palace, former Independence Palace, where were stormed by the tanks on 30th Apr. 1975, signifying the fall of the South Regime (just outside).
Depart to Cu Chi. You'll arrive to Cuchi after 1 ½ hour driving.
Spend your time to explore the tunnel, a well-known revolutionary historical site. This is the unique architectural structure with the system of hundreds kilometre tunnel lying deeply in the earth, with different stages and branches, which connected together to create the tangled net of the tunnels. These tunnels have been dug by Cuchi guerrillas during the American war, right under the feet of the American, and became hidden home of the guerrillas. Here has been called the homeland of “The Tunnel War”, which contributes the important role in the final victory of Vietnam over America. 
Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.
Return to Hochiminh city, transfer to the hotel.
Day 03: Hochiminh - Mekong Delta - Hochiminh (B/L/…)
“A touch of real authentic life”
Ben Tre is one province, located at the end of Cuu Long, one branch of Mekong River, and formed by three isles, which are divided by four rivers. Here there are many rivers and creeks, and is the place, where the primitive features of the countryside in Mekong Delta is still being kept. With fertile soil and 60 km coastline, the inhabitants here live on fishing, rice and fruits cultivation; here has been being Vietnam’s granary, supply rice for the whole country. 
Have early breakfast at the hotel. 
Then at 07:30, you'll departure to Ben Tre town, which is about 105 km south of Hochiminh city. You’ll arrive after two hours driving, take the riverboat cruising on Ben Tre River, one of tributaries of Mekong River watching the daily life activity of the local people along the river. 

On the way, stopover to visit a coconut workshop and a coconut candy workshop, try some sweets, enjoy some fruits and listen to local music as well. Step ashore and walk to visit the farmer who makes sleep mats. 
 
Have lunch at local restaurant (Vietnamese set menu). 
After lunch, continue with the rowing boat trip along water palm creek.
Drop off . Late in the afternoon, return to Hochiminh city. 
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Hue (B/L/…)
Morning transfer by the driver (no guide) to  airport for the flight to Hue.
On arrival, get a pick up by the guide and transfer to the City.
Huế, a city located in central Vietnam, is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and imperial architecture.
In the afternoon you will visit the Imperial City (The Citadel), a UNESCO World Heritage site, served as the political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Enclosed by massive walls and a moat, the complex includes the Purple Forbidden City, temples, pavilions, and the Halls of the Mandarins. Must-visit attractions within the Imperial City include the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City.
Tu Duc Tomb, the resting place of Emperor Tu Duc. The tomb is known for its beautiful architecture and serene surroundings.
You will enjoy a leisurely boat trip along the poetic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda also known as "Heavenly Lady Pagoda" the symbol of Hue.

Day 5: Hue - Ba Na Hills - Hoi An (B/…/…)
In the morning, pick you up at the hotel and transfer to Ba Na Hills, a beautiful resort area in the Truong Son Mountains, near
Da Nang. Famous for the Golden Bridge and charming French Village, it offers stunning views and a cool climate.
Spend your time in the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and admire the breath-taking view of Da Nang coastal city. See the fascinating Linh Ung Pagoda and marvel at its exquisite architectural design. Visit Golden Bridge, a 150-meter-long pedestrian bridge with two giant stone hands supporting the structure. 
Drive to Hoi An. Check-in and overnight in your hotel.
Day 06: Hoi An City Tour (B/…/…)
The old town Hoi An presents architecture from the 15th to the 19th century. Officially founded by a lord of the Nguyen family in 1595, it is an example of a well-preserved port city of Southeast Asia of that time. Under the Nguyen Dynasty, Hoi An became the most important trading port of the East Sea, especially for high-quality ceramics and silk. Known as “Hai Pho” or “Beach Resort”, it was a vital link between Europe and China, India and Japan, with ships coming from Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Great Britain, and America. Hoi An’s commercial prowess could not be sustainable.

You will explore Hoian ancient town by walking of visiting Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese streets, old Phung Hung houses, Hoi An’s market and the ancient port and the old house of Tan Ky.
The rest of the day is your free time at leisure to do some shopping.

Day 07: Hoi An - Da Nang - Fly to Hanoi - Jeep street food tour (B/…/D)
Transfer to Danang airport and take a morning flight to Hanoi.
On arrival, meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel in the city center. Free till night food tour at 18:00 (JOIN IN GROUP TOUR)
Our Hanoi Jeep team will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the old church of Hanoi to join with another in the group you will learn the history of Joseph's Cathedral and take picture for you before we continue to enjoy the food
The most famous food in Hanoi at the hidden gem street with Bun Cha of traditional family who start up since 1925, especially Obama – United States President also came to eat here when he came to visit Vietnam in 2016.
Next stop in the French quarter where you see beautiful architecture of colonial buildings at night, chance to get beautiful pictures of Hanoi at night. Our Hanoi Jeep team will stop in front of Hanoi Opera house to let you see the view of the French quarter, and learn some history by our tour guide.
Then we get on the Jeep and go to the next place for food, before the food place we will ride pass through the beautiful ceramic road and we will stop at Long Bien Bridge for you to have a walk here to enjoy the overview of Hanoi city at night. 
The exciting rides in organized, chaotic traffic takes you to a local restaurant with authentic food and then to small alleys to try a different versions of Pho, Pho Chien Phong, Chien Trung, Pho Cuon, many different Vietnamese dishes which are world famous and the opportunity to try all typical of the food here.  
Ride around the big lake is a romantic sight of Hanoi that most travelers rarely have the chance to see, which you will experience a big "wow" factor. This will surely make you say "I’m happy that I did this trip!" Continue with the tour, drive around Hanoi city and drive pass Ho Chi Minh mausoleum stop for take picture of the night time.
A few minutes, drive to next stop for Egg coffee shop we will have chance to enjoy the traditional special coffee of Vietnam.
Day 08: Ha Noi City Tour (B/…/…)
Hanoi, capital of Vietnam with thousands years of history, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, has elegance unlike any other city in Asia. This city is attractive not only by the fine colonial mansions, but also by the old commercial quarter, where you can get a sense of the city’s true cultural depth. Since long time it has been the center of culture and economy of Vietnam.
08:00 - 08:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City 
08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
09:30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world. 
11:15:
 
Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.
Special Note: We will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays
12:45: Have lunch at local restaurant. 
14:00 - 14:15: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.
15:15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton”
16:15 - 16:30: Return to your hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 09: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
7:45 - 8:15: Get picked up from your hotel and transfer to Tuan Chau Habor 
11:30 - 12:00: Get onboard and warmly welcome from the crew team with welcome drink. You will be given a brief about safety regulations and tours. Lunch will be served while the boat is sailing deeper to Lan Ha Bay. Room key can be handle to guests before, during or after the lunch finishes.
Visit the Ba Trai Dao area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay – this area includes the beach breaths a romantic atmosphere and three smaller islets like three giant peaches on the sea. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, swimming, sightseeing and explore the Ba Trai Dao area.
17:30 - 18:30: Come back to our cruise and enjoy the pre-dinner sunset party with Happy Hour Promotion at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.
Join a cooking demonstration, our chef will guide you how to make some simple signature Vietnamese dishes.
19:30: Enjoy special seafood and typical Vietnamese food on the cruise.
21:00: Evening entertainment: Squid fishing, karaoke… Overnight on boat.
Day 10: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi (B/Brunch/…)
06:15:
Greets first light of the Day on Sundeck, warming up your body with Tai Chi lesson, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and watch the sunrise in Lan Ha Bay.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau harbor. Get on the bus back to Hanoi
