Detail program

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi - Pick up to hotel - Street foods tour in the afternoon (-/-/D)
Arrival in Noi Bai airport, you will be picked up by the guide and transferred to the hotel in the city center. 
We will explore Hanoi city by walking around the old quarter of the city, which is well known with 36 old streets, its name represent each kind of consumer goods that was traded in it.
Our favorite is the central Hangdao, Hangbac and Hanggai Street with all the silk and jewel shops...etc; there is also plenty of time for shopping, for independent walking and street photography in the old quarter of the city.
Dong Xuan Market is a massive indoor market where you can find a variety of goods, from clothing to electronics, souvenirs, and local products. It's a great place to experience the local market culture.
Long Bien Bridge is an iconic symbol of Hanoi. It's a historic bridge with a unique design that crosses the Red River. The bridge offers a great view of the river and the cityscape. You can walk along the pedestrian pathway and capture some great photos.
During this tour you can discover North specialties such as Bun Cha (noodle & BBQ meat), Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich), Bia(local beer),Egg coffee.

Day 2: Hanoi – City (B/L/…)
Hanoi, located on the banks of the Red River, is one of the most ancient capital in the world, where travelers can find well - preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, temples and unique museums within the city centre
  • 08:00 - 08:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City
  • 08:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
  • 09:30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world.
  • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
  •  Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area
  • 11:15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.
Special Note: We will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays
  • 12:45: Have lunch at local restaurant.
  • 14:00 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.
  • 16:30: Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave) (B/L/…)
  • 07:30 - 08:10: Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay and start 110km on Bus-journey through verdant landscape of country side. Short-brake en route.
  • 10:30: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Ding King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century.
  • 11:30: Leisure cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through small villages with backdrop of a maze of limestone mountains.
  • 12:00: Enjoy buffet lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.
  • 13:30: Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5 hours boat trip). With Halong Bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, a very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.
  • 15:30: Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature.
  • 16:30: Return to our bus and then come back to Hanoi.
  • 18:30: Drop you off at your hotel/stay.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Today’s long drive takes you to Halong Bay, the World Heritage, which is created by the imposing nature.
Halong means, “Where the dragon descends into the sea”, only this name itself already contains an occult. You’ll find here a lot of legends handed down from one generation to another. There are over 3,000 islands, composed of carboniferous chalk and covered with green vegetation.
  • 08:00 : Pick up at the hotel in old quarter. Transfer to Halong Bay (No guide)
  • 11:30: Arrive at Halong International Habor
  • Embark on cruise by tender. Check-in, enjoy welcome drinks and cruise briefing
  • Enjoy lunch while cruising to magnificent Ha Long Bay, and admire the fascinating formations on the way
  • Luon cave - kayaking or bamboo boat 
  • Luon cave excursion on bamboo rowing boat by locals or kayaking. This is one of the must-do activities in the bay. 
  • Titop island – Climbing, Beach & Swimming 
  • Your next stop is Titop island with its famous crescent moon-shaped beach and tranquil beautiful blue waters. Viewing Halong Bay from the peak of Titop island is another not-to-be missed activity. 
  • Enjoy the best moments of the day at sundeck as the sun hits the water between the dramatic limestone peaks and emerald-green coves, enjoying drinks and a cooking demonstration.
  • Savour a delicious dinner
  • Night time squid fishing

Day 5: Halong - Hanoi  (B/Brunch/…)
  • 06:15 Enjoy sunrise on the bay. Morning Tai Chi session on topdeck
  • 06:30 Light breakfast will be served in the restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
  • Explore Sung Sot Cave – the biggest and most stunning cave in Halong Bay
  • 09:15 Check out of your cabin after a final early brunch 
  • 09:30 Buffet brunch served at the restaurant 
  • 10:45-11:00 Back to the port. Farewell and disembark
  • 11:15-11:30 Get on the bus back to Hanoi (no guide)

Day 6: Hanoi – Drive to Sapa – Silver & Love Waterfall (B/L/…)
  • 06:00 - 06:30: Picking up from hotel in the old quarter or bus station, get on bus and depart to Sapa.
  • 07:30 - 11:45: Following the Highway to Lao Cai city with the comfort break.
  • 11:45 - 13:15: Bus on the mountain road approaching to Sapa Town. On the way you can see beautiful view, the valley with terraces field.
  • 13:15 - 13:30: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. Have lunch.
  • 14:30: The guide will take you to an altitude of 1,700 meters to visit Silver Waterfall, located at the source of the Mường Hoa stream. After taking some memorable photos, you will walk approximately 1 km along a forest path. Before you, a white cascade appears, flowing down from the high cliff like the hair of a young woman. This is Love Waterfall.
Legend has it that local boys and girls would come here to make vows of eternal love, bathing together to wish for a beautiful love as enduring as the waterfall, hoping to stay together for a lifetime. That is why it is called Love Waterfall. Driver pick up back to Sapa.
  • 17:00: Back to Sapa Town.

Day 7: Sapa - Lao Chai – Ta Van – Drive to Hanoi (B/L/…)
Lao Chải Tả Van where the Black Hmong and Dzay people are living, situated approximately 09 kilometers  from the center of Sapa town in Lao Cai province. We take a trek through the rice terraces and down to Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai village. Here you can see H’mong minority dressed in their traditional costumes  that are unique to the Northern region, discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft…..  See the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain then we walk to Ta Van village, home of the Dzay People. The car will pick you up to back to Sapa and transfer in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi free day- afternoon flight to Hue (B/-/-)
Today is a scheduled free day in your tour, giving you time to relax and recover after the long journey from Sapa.
Afternoon transfer (no guide) to airport for your flight to Hue.
On arrival, transfer (no guide) to hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue City- Thuy Bieu Ecovillage (B/L/-)
Explore the Hue Imperial City (The Citadel), a UNESCO World Heritage site, served as the political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Enclosed by massive walls and a moat, the complex includes the Purple Forbidden City, temples, pavilions, and the Halls of the Mandarins. Must-visit attractions within the Imperial City include the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City.
We will depart by boat to Thuy Bieu Eco Village, an ancient village located on the southern bank of the Perfume River, on the way stop to visit Thien Mu Pagoda also known as "Heavenly Lady Pagoda" the symbol of Hue then continue the cruise toward the village. Have local lunch.
You will cycle through the peaceful village, visiting several communal houses, ancient temples and the highlight: the garden-house, a typical and unique feature of Hue.
Take a rest and relax your feet with 30 minutes of herbal foot bath after a day of sightseeing.
  • Visit Tu Duc Tomb, the resting place of Emperor Tự Đức. The tomb is known for its beautiful architecture and serene surroundings.
  • Back to the hotel for the night.

Day 10: Hue - Hoian City in the afternoon (B/L/-)
Depart from Hue and travel to Hoian. The journey takes approximately 3 hours by car. Check into the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will explore Hoian ancient town by walking of visiting Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese streets, old Phung Hung houses, Hoi An’s market and the ancient port and the old house of Tan Ky. On the 1st and 15th of every lunar month, Hoi An’s ancient town is lit up by hundreds of colorful lanterns, giving it an extra portion of sparkle.
Overnight in Hoian.
Day 11: Hoian – Cooking class at Tra Que Village (B/L/…)
Half day start at 8:00 AM or 02:00PM
  • We will ride bicycles to Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. So make sure your camera is handy.
  • Continue to cycle to Tra Que vegetable village where we will have a cooking class
  • At Tra Que, we will have a welcome drink for rest. Then, we walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields, using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, no electrical machinery here.
  • You will relax with Foot herbal massage 
  • After the foot massage, it’s time to cook lunch. We will go to the restaurant & work together with the chef.  With the instructions of the chef, we will learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food.
  • After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.
  • Back to your hotel

Day 12: Hoian Danang - Flight to Saigon – City (B/L/-)
  • Morning, take flight from Danang to Saigon. On arrival, pick up & have a brief tour around Ho Chi Minh city
  • Make an orientation tour on foot around the Paris Commune Square area, the center of the city, located the Cathedral Church, designed in France and built by Mr. Bourard – a French engineer; the post office in an old colonial style building with a part of its iron structure was designed by Gustave Eiffel’s student.
  • Have lunch at local restaurant
  • Cholon - the Chinese quarter, with Binhtay market, strolling on the always-crowded streets. 
  • Have free time to explore, by your own, the downtown or for shopping at Dongkhoi Street (formal Catinat str.), Benthanh market and at the center of the city.
  • Return to the hotel & Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 13:  Saigon - Mekong Delta (B/L/-)
08:00 start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century.
you embark a boat on Mekong river and go down down the river around the floating fish farm and fish market harbor. Visit one of fishing pens and have a looks fishing boats parking here after catching in the sea and bustle of fishing dock.
Crossing the large Mekong River to the other side in Ben tre. Have a look four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Continue on small canal winding through coconut jungle and palm trees, mangrove trees growing up wildly along the waterway. Change riding a hand-rowed sampan through canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside,
Step ashore and get in the local houses to see bee farms made by farmers and enjoy some fruits, honey tea and listen to local music show as well.
Hop on moto cart on village paths and discover tranquil coconut country. Stop at coconut candy workshop, enjoy some sweets by the way.
Have lunch at local riverside restaurant with local Vietnam food.
Crossing back large Mekong River to pier in My Tho.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight

 
Day 14: Saigon – Phnom Penh – Discover City (B/-/-)
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport and take a flight from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Phnompenh (PNH) in flight K6813, departing at 08:30 – arriving at 09:30
Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH), welcome by English Tour guide & driver will pick up then transfer to hotel in Phnom Penh for check in(~50mn). (Check-in time is from 14:00).
Begin your visit with the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, followed by a stop at Wat Phnom. Then visit the Central Market (Phsar Thmei), a striking art-deco landmark filled with local life, souvenirs, and street food.

Weekend Bonus (Saturday & Sunday)
Walk along the evening street fair, where local families gather to enjoy traditional dances, handmade crafts, and street snacks under the stars.
Day 15: Phnom Penh–Skun - Tonle Sap Lake - Chong Kneas Floating Village (B/-/-)
Check out from hotel and depart from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by private vehicle with tour guide.
En route, stop at Skun, famous for its fried tarantulas and local delicacies. Continue to visit Spean Kampong Kdei, an ancient Angkorian bridge with naga railings, one of the oldest surviving stone bridges in Cambodia.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, check in to your hotel. Later, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake to explore a floating village Chong Kneas and discover the traditional lifestyle of fishing communities. Transfer to hotel and check in.

Day 16: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom - Ta Prohm - Angkor Wat (B/-/-)
Optional 20usd/pax: Early morning visit to Angkor Wat at sunrise – a breathtaking experience (upon request).
Heading to visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, including Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the Royal Palace area, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Elephants. Continue to Ta Prohm, a temple overtaken by jungle roots, and finish with a detailed exploration of the iconic Angkor Wat temple.
Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 17: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei - Discover City (B/-/-)
Begin your day with a visit to the intricately carved Banteay Srei, known as the “Citadel of Women.” On the way back, stop at Preah Dak Village, a charming countryside village known for local rice noodles and palm sugar production – a chance to connect with local culture. Continue to Banteay Samre Temple, a beautifully restored structure in a peaceful setting.
Return to Siem Reap and visit Les Artisans d’Angkor, a craft center supporting Khmer artisans. End your day at the lively Old Market (Phsar Chas) for shopping and tasting local snacks.

Day 18: Siem Reap – Departure (B/-/-)
Breakfast in hotel. Free at leisure in hotel till time pick up and transfer to Airport for your return flight.
